A woman who just turned 40 is unraveling as she goes on a date and deals with her father who can’t remember her.
Funny and uncomfortable woman breaking apart in a sustained monolog. We feel for he and understand what she is going through. Claire Titelman is very good. My only complaint is that this would have hit a bit harder if it didn’t lean into the crazy middle aged single woman trope. The gilding isn’t needed on this lily.
Worth a look.
