THE FABULOUS GOLD HARVESTING MACHINE 

Nominally this is the story of a young man who makes a machine to help his aging father mine gold other than by hand. The truth is this is much more, it’s a look at a way of life and at fathers and sons. It’s a small gem of a film. See it

SLUM LORD MILLIONAIRE

This is a good look at the increasing problem of landlord who are trying to drive tenants out by turning their properties into uninhabitable slums. While the film is focusing on the practice across New York City where the rents are beyond insane, the story told is one that is happening across America.  This is a solid film on an important subject.

QUEENDOM

Portrait of aJenna, a non binary artist in Russia who raises eye brows with their way out costumes and art pieces. They use their pieces as a form of protest and activism. However since Russia in not friendly to the LGBTQ community there is accost.

Solid portrait of an artist who feels their art is their life. It’s a bracing portrait of art and self expression under the thumb of tyranny. It’s a heart breaking tale that will leave you battered and bruised by the end.
