Two young ladies decide to forgo a family get together and go to remote cabin. One makes an unfortunate wish in front of sigil on a tree and sets in motion a dark series of events.
For the most part this is a super little horror thriller. It’s a tense little thriller that keeps you on the edge of your seat.
The problem with the film is the pacing. This film runs just under two hours and there are times when then things drag. What we are seeing isn’t bad, but it often feels slow. If the film lost 15 or 20 minutes the film would have us in a vice like grip instead of just a tight grip of a leathered glove.
Pacing aside this is a killer thriller.
See it.
