A hip and happening attempt at telling an amusing shaggy dog story that ends up being a bit too mannered and too long for what it is.
With apologies to the filmmakers, this really doesn't go anywhere. Its a frequently funny story that goes all over the place but never quite sticks the landing. The problem is that the film tries to do too much to make it look special and I should have seen the read flags that it wasn't going to end satisfying. Don't get me wrong I was with the film until the end ...and then I was left scratching my head as I pondered why all of the effort went into that ending.
My disappointment resulted in this review.
