If you love Japanese films or Japanese culture and you live pretty much anywhere in the world you have a chance to access, FOR FREE, some great Japanese film via The Japanese Film Festival On Line. It's a stunning group of films that you need to spend time and go through- you have a month to do so.
Trust me I know this is a great selection of films because I have seen six of them.

And as for KIMBA, this Ozamu Tesuka gem along with ASTRO BOY, which isn't screening, are hard wired into my being because I was watching it as a kid. It was is a glorious bit of animation from which so much we hold dear today sprung.
I'm not going to really wax poetic about the festival because I'm too occupied with the Tribeca Film Festival. I have had to grab a few minutes from writing on that festival in order to write about this one. Additionally you don't need me to tell you what to watch the films are free and there is a month to watch them. So pick some titles and watch.
