A young man in trouble after beating a patron into the hospital goes to a weird doctor for help.
Strange Lynch/Cronenberg like film manages to make it's form over content nature work brilliantly and make you wish it was a feature. This trip into the psyche of a young man unspools much too quickly and makes you wish it was longer.
Full of off kilter images, perfect marriages of sound and picture and some note perfect performances (Debbie Harry is so good I didn't realize it was her) this film is near perfect world building. It's a stunning film that will get your brain going.
What does it mean? I don't know but I want more.
One of the best films I've seen at this year's Tribeca
