Canine (2024) Tribeca 2024

This film is about the training a dog named AK to so he can be sent help protect the Namibian Black Rhino population.

Good but much to short film is slightly frustrating in that this only focuses on the training of AK. It's not a knock, but rather more that there is more to the story that we need to see. I don't think it would have been a problem had the film not had the opening few minutes focused on the game warden. It's misleading because it makes us think that we are going to be spending more time with the gentleman. 

If any film at this year's Tribeca is calling out for a feature, this is it.

Still the film is worth a look.
