This is a Netflix docu-series that covers the efforts of the police to catch the Yorkshire Ripper in the 1970's. Told by the cops, the surviving victims and other people connected to the case this is a frightening look back in time to when fear filled the streets of England.
This is a good look at the efforts to catch Peter Sutcliffe in the 1970's. Sutcliffe killed 13 and injured another 7. Some were sex workers and some were not. It's a film that shines in that it not only focuses on the police efforts to catch the killer, but it lays out what it was like living under a veil of fear. What I like about the series is it makes clear that Sutcliffe was known to the police and had been stopped at least 9 times and questioned.
Worth a look.
