A group of theater students put a show together about sexual violence on campus
This is a timely and important film that contains a great deal of frank discussions. It is a film that people need to see because it will open up conversations and make clear what is and is not okay. It is a film that is going to rattle cages.
And I'm going to leave my discussion of the film there. I say that because as important as I think what the film is about is, I am less in love with the way the film comes across. The issue here is that the film feels like the everyone is playing to the camera. They in the non performance sequences to still be aware of the camera. For me it put up a little bit of a wall and made me question what I was feeling.
My personal issues aside this is a must see, more so if you have or are kids in high school and college.
