Moody black and white horror film needs to be seen in the dark with no distracting lights.
This is a gloriously creepy horror film about a mother and a daughter living together when the mother’s shadow takes on a life of it’s own.
This is a perfect marriage of sound and image. With almost no dialog and just the sounds of the rooms and some ambient music, SHADOW is truly scary. This is a film that gets under your skin and stays there. It’s a film that makes you want to sleep with bright lights because of what maybe lurking in the darkness.
While 2024 is still young SHADOW is destined to end up on one of my year end lists.
Highly recommended- expect this nightmare to play festivals across the globe over the next year.
