Follow up to the surprise hit of a few years back is much better than its box office performance would lead you to believe it is. Picking up some time later the Marvels are all about helping people but at the same time they all want to go in their own directions. This complicates matters when two goddesses come to town and want a magic staff that will allow them to take over the world.
Enjoyable, if uneven romp surprised me with how good it was. While I waited for the fil to show up on HBO I found that once it was on my plans of watching ten minutes resulted in an afternoon of lost plans as I stayed for the long haul.
While the set pieces tended to be better than some of the linking material (which strove to have a deeper meaning) its still a great deal of fun.
