In 1987 four young women retreat into their own world by moving into the rundown former home of one of their number. As the future keeps intruding, the house keeps getting boarded up with warnings that it is private property, their lives and emotions collide.
This is a great looking film. Feeling at times like a half remembered dream the perfectly cast young ladies pull us into the on screen drama.
As good as the cast and technical aspects of the film are, I wish the script had been a bit tighter. It rambles a bit too much often in directions that seem much too random even by real life standards.
That said, the cast and the feel are enough to make this film worth a look.
