While a mother and her baby are having breakfast a menacing young man enters.
When LAMB ended I yelped "You can't stop now!" I was so shocked at the ending I scanned through the end credits to see if director Sinéad O'Loughlin put in anything to indicate what happens next. She did not, with the result that I was left twisting in the wind.
All hail a director who understands the power of suggestion and allowing our minds to fill in the blanks.
Dear god what a film. I mean seriously, this small little poisoned pill packs a punch. This is the sort of a thing that gets a director noticed.
Hello Sinéad O'Loughlin, I have taken notice, what are you doing next?
This is a lean mean film that grips you as tightly as a psycho's arm grasping yours as he leads you out the backdoor to the slaughter.
Highly recommended both as film unto itself and as a calling card of a director to reckon with.
