Director Carlos Pardo Ros tries to sort the time immediately before the death of a man known briefly only as H. He was killed during the running of the bulls when he was thrown and gored. Using eyewitness testimony and recreations he recreates the night before the tragedy.
Low key and meditative look at what might have happened to a relative many years ago. This is a documentary that leans very much toward being a tone poem. It's an achingly beautiful film that you fall into. This is a film that is just as much about the telling as the tale with the result is a film that alters your head space. This is a grand tale that you cling to and want to revisit repeatedly.
I absolutely love this film a great deal
Recommended.
