THE COW
Winona Ryder and her boyfriend rent a house in the woods. Things get complicated when there is someone else there. Things go even more wrong when the boyfriend disappears Ryder tries to track him down.
Twisty thriller is not what you expect. Taking turns you don’t see coming and playing out in ways that are atypical this is a neat little film that you will want to see a second time simply because until its done you’ll never have a handle on it.

MASTER OF LIGHT
Portrait of artist George Anthony Martin who is struggling to deal with his mother, his art and his being an ex con.
Heavy weight portrait of a great artist dealing with life. While this is a very good film, I really need to see it again because I wasn’t expecting such a heavy weight look at life. I was looking more for a look at the art, and felt a bit overwhelmed after catching a couple of other SXSW films of a heavy nature.
