This is a look at three years in the lives of activists and politicians Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Varshini Prakash, Alexandra Rojas and Rhiana Gunn-Wright, as the fight to push through the Green New deal and fight social injustice.
Good, if a bit over long, look at the fight to save the planet by several women of color. It is a film that hits all of the important points and drives home the danger we are in.
I'm not going to make a guess how you are going to react to the film. While I think the film does a good job of making it's case, it also can be a bit too forceful in it's presention about the urgency to the point it comes off shrill. Blame it on the film's insistence on focusing on some activists who are a bit more animated and emtional. Some viewers may also not be happy with AOC being front and center since her recent romance with a Segrams heir has changed her policies and how some people view her (she is no longer a champion of the little people.)
Worth a look if the subject interests you but this is going to play best to the coverted.
