Excellent story about a Dorothy Oliver in Panaola Alabama who takes it upon herself to get enough people to sign up for covid shots so the government will bring the vaccine to the small town and they won’t have to travel 40 miles to get a jab,
This is great time with great people. More importantly in an age when everyone is making and remaking covid films that seem like carbon copies of themselves the PANOLA PROJECT stands out as something new. This is not only a story we haven’t seen before and reveals itself to be a vital tale.
More importantly this is a film which will survive past the pandemic since its tale of one woman working to better her community transcends being just a covid tale to be story we should all take to our hearts at all times.
