A home invaded by a group of men who are part of a larger group who pay to be part of violent home invasions. Things do not go as planned.
EVIL AT THE DOOR is reasonbly well made but suffers from a script that isn't much of anything. We've been here before with the plot feeling like a kind of modified Purge or the secret society is out to get us subgenre. Yea it throws a couple of twists in, the traitor, the woman under the bed, but the pacing is such tht it never generates much tension. I suspect that part of it is the shift in focus from the victims to the invaders.
While I didn't dislike the film, there isn't enough here to really recommend it unless you are a fan of these sort of movies.
