Stunningly beautiful love letter to the American cowboy.
Filmed on eight ranches of over 100,000 acres the film shows us the hard life of the men and women who drive cattle and do all of the things that make up the lives of cowboys today. This is not the life we see in the movies but something tougher and lonelier.
I really liked this film a great deal. It’s a stunning film that brings home the beauty and the pain of a life on a the range. My only regret is that the film is opening during the Covid lock down and we can’t get to see these Oscar worthy images on a true big screen.
Recommended.
