Fame and The Devil (1949)
Aide to an American diplomat sells his soul to the devil to get the affection of a certain young lady.
Amusing Italian comedy echoes films like Here Comes Mr Jordan and Angel On My shoulder. While it may have a plot we’ve seen before it overcomes shortcomings with some really funny jokes (Misha Aurer trying to speak Italian for example) and some winning performances.
Everyone seems to be having a good time so we do the same.
Worth a look
