My Father The Mover (2020) Tribeca 2020

Glorious short film about Stoan MOVE Galela a man who teaches dance to teens and adults.  Actually he says that he teaches people to move since movement is greater than dance.

Heartlifting portrait built around Stoan's daughter going to her father's dance class to see what he does, this is a film that will make you smile. This is a film that shows how dancing/moving can lift one up from their life and ut them to where they feel free and truly greater than themselves.  Through observation, interviews and fance we come to understand the magnificence of what Stoan is doing and how he is teaching the kids to reach for something more.

I can not recommend this film enough.-And please forgive my short review this a film to see and feel not read about.
