This is a look at the struggle to provide the food servers and bar tenders of America with a living wage. The film highlights the battle between the National Restaurant Association who want to keep the wage for topped workers at just over two bucks an hour and Restaurant Opportunities Centers United who want to raise the rate.
Excellent documentary puts a face on the problems faced by tipped workers. It wonderfully explains why they need more than a couple of bucks an hour guaranteed by showing us the lives of people struggling to get by. It should also work as an eye opener for the cheap bastards who either don't tip or who under tip just because the can.
Recommended.
