STEVENSON LOST AND FOUND (2019) DOC NYC 2019
Portrait of the life and career of prolific New Yorker cartoonist James Stevenson. Stevenson started out writing gags for the various cartoonists until he realized that he could make more money doing the cartoons himself.
Full of Stevensons cartoons, interviews, animations and all sorts of good stuff the film is a stunning celebration of the man who made reading the New Yorker so much fun. More importantly the film spends plenty of time on his other work such as his children's books and other fun things.
Highly recommended especially for fans.
STEVENSON LOST AND FOUND plays one more time tomorrow at DOC NYC. For more information and tickets go here.
