Gripping portrait of life on the edge of society works thanks to the filmmakers taking the time to really let us get to know all the parties involved. There are not just random people but people who come to mean something to us.
WHERE MAN RETURNS
Stunningly beautiful portrait o a man living in the wilderness. Steinar lives in a small cabin near the Norwegian and Russian border. We watch as he goes through his days with his dog, hunting, fishing taking phone calls and just getting by.
Shot in breathtaking widescreen, WHERE MAN RETURNS is one of the most beautiful films I've seen all year. While there is very little dialog there doesn't need to be since the images and perfectly integrated music tell us everything we need to know.
An absolute must see especially if you can see it on a big screen.
