NDNF Shorts: LE PARK and ISABELLA MORRA
LE PARK
A drifting walk through an abandoned amusement park where the only people we see are the abandoned youth as frozen and seemingly discarded as the rides. The only sound we hear is that of recorded voices coming from off screen.
Trippy film is an interesting meditation on the things we throw away or discard. The visual style is the interesting thing here with the constantly moving camera sucking us into the proceedings. Definitely one to see on a big screen.
ISABELLA MORRA
Children in a housing project play and interact. Some talk to each other. Others we hear in voice over.
Interesting to a point before it gets real tedious .
