Running as part of the Free Shorts Program at the New York Jewish Film Festival GERMAN SHEPHERD has film maker Nils Bergendal pondering human existence ans whether given the choice to do do good or bad what our choice is.
This intriguing little short is the sort of thing that gets your mind wondering beginning with our narrator talking about his mother and the loss of her family in the Holocaust we are then asked to ponder if there are good Germans. The narrator says there is, he having more friends there than in New York, He then talks about how he ponders what he would do if given the chance to do good, so bad or do nothing.
What would you do?
I'm not sure what I would do, even after consideration as the result of the film.
A small little kernel to ponder.
The film plays the 17th and 18th for free. For more information go here.
