17th Annual Sephardic Jewish Film Festival starts Thursday. Unfortunately we at Unseen are not (as of this writing) going to be able to cover the fest since we will be at the NYICFF second week and some events at the Museum of the Moving Image.
However just because we're otherwise engaged doesn't mean you shouldn't make the effort to go. I say this because the festival is running some good films, including some we've reviewed previously Joann Sfar Draws From Memory, Sfar's The Rabbi's Cat which is in seen in the process of being made in Draws from Memory and Rita Jahan Farouz which I saw at this years New York Jewish Film Festival.
For details on all the films go to their website here.
(And keep reading because we may be able to sneak in some screenings next week...)
