Informant opens Friday at Lincoln Center
Opening Friday at Lincoln Center and available I-tunes is the excellent documentary Informant. This is the story of Brandon Darby who became a well known activist in the wake of Hurricane Katrina when he fought for the rights of various marginalized people. He rose to national prominence only to crash when it was discovered that he was working as an informant for the FBI and other agencies. It’s a wild story that makes for a compelling movie- especially since it's not easy to see the twists and turns coming.
I saw the film last year at DOC NYC where I loved it. MY review his here- but my advice is just go see the film because it’s a kicker
