The Japan Society in New York just announced the schedule of their annual Japan Cuts film series running from July 1 to the 15th.
The series which co presents films with the New York Asian Film Festival for four of the days, is presenting 20 films which either are premireing in the US or New York, or still don't have a US release. The selection of films tends to be great and I'm eyeing a good number of them.
My sole complaint this year is that many of the films that are screening after the Fourth of July are only getting a single showing so if something interests you you will have to jump on it.
Tickets for this years series goes on sale June 10th, the same day that tickets are on sale fir the NYAFF.
You can check the Japan Cuts website for details.
